La mère Charrat

Long before it became a rental house, at the beginning of the 20th century, this place was a café. Mère Charrat served the neighbours who came to play the Bourre, a card game almost forgotten today.

Hi, I’m Laure Hammer and I’ve been lucky enough to live in Le Sappey for several years now. I absolutely adore the Chartreuse and I love hiking and skiing there. I work as a cardiologist in Saint-Martin-d'Hères and I live in the house right next to the lodge, so I’m never far away if you need anything!

Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse
